The latest Conservation Area Appraisal and Management Plan (CAAMP) published by Sevenoaks District Council (SDC), which gives formal planning guidance for developments in the Wildernesse Conservation Area, is available through this link.
SDC have told us that they expect to update the CAAMP document in due course. The WRA committee expects to be involved in discussing any new version. When the time comes, we will consult residents on changes which might be made to improve the document.
An Excel spreadsheet providing a convenient, digestible view of the key points in CAAMP, which is a lengthy document, is available here. This was produced by the WRA Committee for its own reference in assessing planning applications and thus represents our summary, not one endorsed by SDC. The entries in the spreadsheet reproduce CAAMP wording and can each be referenced back to particular paragraphs in the CAAMP document. (The ‘List by subject’ worksheet shows the section or paragraph from which each entry is taken.) We believe the spreadsheet provides a broadly accurate view of the main points in CAAMP. However, anyone making any decisions related to CAAMP guidance must consult the full CAAMP document. They must not rely on the spreadsheet, which inevitably cannot give a full and detailed view of all CAAMP content. The WRA Committee does not warrant the spreadsheet for any use and accepts no liability for its use in any way by any third party.
